点评:I have been here many times. Even camped here back in the 70's. Since I am now a widow, this time I was by myself. So, I hiked a short way; not too far. You can park along the highway by a trail access, walk slightly uphill a few yards, and voila! there is a waterfall. And then you can turn around and go back to your vehicle, or you can keep going. Last year, I did the first one; pressed for time. This time I did the second one.
One warning: If you visit with either dogs or children, keep in mind that there are drop offs and fast water present here. Although it's the law to have your dog leashed here, if you are one of those people who want your dogs to "run free," don't let them. It's a good likelihood that you will be "waving bye-bye" to them as they fall into the rapid river rushing through a narrow gorge. Same with kids. I strongly advise you to have them next to you at all times if you are near the water. The rocks can be slippery at times. Safety out trumps everything else.
Other than that, this is a great place to hike. Beautiful and easy to access. If you are so inclined, they also have a nice campground. If you do decide to camp, of course, book ahead.
