Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab的点评
点评：We made the 2.5-hour drive from New Orleans with the family to visit the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. It was... okay. The aquarium itself is pretty small and located right by the waterway, which is nice scenery-wise, but I wish the experience had been a little bigger and more interactive.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which was a plus. The price was reasonable, but overall, it felt more like a one-and-done type of stop. There’s not much else to do on the island besides the beach, so this felt more like a time filler than a main attraction.
Also, just a heads-up — the people driving golf carts around the island aren’t the most considerate. You’d think they’d follow the same road rules as cars, but that wasn’t our experience.
Glad we checked it off the list, but won’t be returning.
