A Hidden Gem in Sonoma—Best Wine of Our Trip!

点评：My friend and I did the 10AM Tribute Estate Tour & Tasting with Donna, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire wine country trip. We were lucky enough to have a private tour that morning, which made the experience even more special.
The property is absolutely stunning vineyard hills, vibrant flowers, palm trees, and mountain view’s. Donna drove us through the estate, sharing her deep knowledge and passion for Benziger’s biodynamic winemaking practices. I went in knowing nothing about biodynamics, and by the end, I was genuinely impressed.
Throughout the tour, we saw so many beautiful aspects of the estate- their sheep, water reservoir, gardens, wine making operations, and the wine cave. Every stop was picturesque and peaceful.
We finished the tour with additional wine tastings inside a lovely room, complete with thoughtful food pairings that enhanced the wines. It gave us a whole new appreciation for their craftsmanship.
Out of the nine wineries we visited on our trip, Benziger was by far our favorite—even topping our experiences in Napa. Their wines were the best we tasted, and the combination of hospitality, education, and setting made this a standout. This winery is truly a hidden gem in Sonoma. I will absolutely be back!
