Must-do fun Sailing !
木舟中心的点评
点评：Went this am to this unique museum next to South Lake Union. Nice exhibits and demos of woodwork toys etc . The fun part was the free Sunday Sailing event
We actually went on a sailboat and it was an awesome experience! One of the nice activities for all age groups where you are not just a bystander !
They have 4 types of boats and we went on the big sailboat (with a backup motor) my first experience at sailing. We have to sign a standard form relating to the activity and then given a handbag and off to wearing life jackets and boarding, after safety instructions
We sat on the side seats and slowly the boat was moving. Experienced and seasoned sailing instructors including David and Sally also involved those interested in the hoisting of sails and other activities which was great fun and a nice learning. Encouraging and supportive. We went around the lake and took some nice photos of the skyline, lake , space needles and selfies.
Also helped understand how the sales and steering is adjusted based on the wind
Almost an hour and we came back to the starting point

1 visit early as long line/ Q forms and it is on first come first serve basis . Also check timings and days before . And file in online the CBW form
2 small sails boats are interesting and realistic but we preferred the big sail cum motor boat which for newcomers like me was stable and with no ups and downs
3 enjoyable more on a sunny day
