Great way to discover Sri Lanka!

点评：Asitha helped us plan our (1st) Sri Lanka holidays, which took place in the 2nd half of November 2024; we travelled as a couple.
Asitha turned out to be not only a phantastic guide and driver, but also a sincerely nice man and great guy!
We undertook a mini-van guided tour through central, south and south-west Sri Lanka, covering many highlights such as Sigiriya and the phantastic 3 hour train ride through the mountainous central part of the country.
What we loved most about the trip was the numerous encounters with the friendly people of Sri Lanka, which impressed us time and again. The country is very diverse - we saw beautiful beaches, steep mountains, tea plantations, lots of wildlife (including dozens of elephants), we had great street food as well as fancy restaurants.
We changed accommodation almost daily (most but not all were recomendaciones by Asitha). We would definitely recommend some of them, but others were slightly on the basic side, so while we were mostly happy with the 3-star average we would recommend to others to carefully check the critical reviews of some of the hotels suggested. (In one of them the mosquito net had holes so big you could shoot a football through...).
We loved the local curries, and the fact that Asitha had a bit of an emergency supply in his van on that evening when it turned out that the restaurant didn't serve beer due the full moon day.
All in all: we highly recommend Asitha as your guide in Sri Lanka!!
