An Unforgettable Experience with Incredible Views—But Not for the Faint of Heart
Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure的点评
点评：Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure was one of the more unique experiences we had in Juneau, and ultimately I'm glad we did it. The views from the top were absolutely stunning. In fact, my very first thought when I stepped out to the viewing area was, "This is what Edward saw in Twilight." One of the biggest benefits of the tour was getting to see far more of the Tongass National Forest than we otherwise would have during our time in Juneau.
That said, I think prospective visitors should know what they're signing up for. The vehicle used to navigate the gravel switchbacks up the mountain felt more than a little sketchy at times. The road is steep and winding, and there were moments when the ride was genuinely nerve-racking. To be fair, we made it up and down safely, and the drivers clearly do this regularly, but it's not a ride I would describe as relaxing.
Our guide was friendly, however, the constant narration sometimes distracted from the natural beauty surrounding us. There were several moments when I would have preferred to simply take in the scenery. Additionally, some of the guide's tangents ventured into topics he presented as expertise but was clearly information gathered from a quick internet search rather than firsthand knowledge.
Overall, "Adventure" is definitely the correct term for the experience.
