Great vibe, beautiful well laid out mountain

点评：One of the better mountains and ski experiences in the North East. The mountain itself is big enough though divided actually in two mountains. The Lincoln Park mountain is the main one and has a variety of trails and is certainly large by North East standards. Good enough for a couple of days. Then Mt Ellen is a pleasant surprise, though smaller still a lot of ski area. A nice touch are the ambassadors who will chat you up and give advice creating a very welcoming feeling. I can't vouch for how the experience would be on a busy holiday weekend but midweek we had the mountain to ourselves and got all the skiing in we needed. The three lunches I had were all a cut above other ski resorts I have visited. I would say the closest thing you are going to get to a western experience in this area.
The only disappointment was the ski shop where I hoped to demo and buy skis. They won't sell you what you demo until after Presidents day so not really workable for me. Alpine creations down the road was wonderful though not slope side was worth the 5 minute drive.
