Rottnest Express的点评
点评：I took my teenage sons to Rottnest Island on 6/10/25 for their first visit. As one of my sons is an avid fisherman, he brought his fishing gear with him on the ferry.
We followed all the guidelines: the reels were removed and kept with us, and the rods were securely packaged in a sleeve, to be handled and stored separately by staff.
To our disappointment, we were shocked by how carelessly and disrespectfully the staff handled my son’s fishing rods, which are valued at approximately $1600.
When we disembarked at B Shed Fremantle at around 7 PM, in a poorly lit area, we had to ask the staff where the rods were. The staff were gathered in a group chatting away with each other, and without any courtesy, simply pointed toward the ground.
To our dismay, the fishing rods were left on the ground. As our eyes went to where the staff were pointing we saw people stepping on the fishing rods and at one point, a child was even using it as a balance beam.
I want to bring this to your attention, that this level of service is unacceptable. We paid for safe and respectful handling of our belongings, and we expected better care especially for high value items. Leaving expensive and fragile equipment on the ground in a high foot traffic area is both unprofessional and negligent.
