点评:Scrolling through the reviews, I almost passed this up. Comments like 'too commercial', 'too many private homes' and 'not interactive staff'. The private residence ratio is subjective, the other two simply not so. I found the docents (in period dress) more than willing to engage at length, and quite knowledgeable. I have PA roots, and so am at least passingly familiar with the Moravians, but still learned much I did not know. I spent all of my time exploring the village and did not have a chance to visit the Horton museum (included with deluxe ticket price - and at $30 NOT cheap), which was a shame and if I return, I'd def do that. Less hokey than Colonial Williamsburg, but also not as large nor the depth of history. Not as big as Sturbridge either, but a very solid slice of the past, well presented. I think you get out what you put into the experience. If you just want to wander past old buildings, well, it might disappoint. But if you're genuinely curious and are willing to spend some time interacting, it's a satisfying experience.
