Peek-A-Boo Loop的点评
点评：We had 2 kids who did this on horseback and my husband and I followed. I thought there would be more stops with the horses or they would slow down but the horses ended up doing the horse trail from Horse Corral to Peek a boo loop back up the horse trail in 2 hours and 35 minutes. Thus my husband and I also did this in 2 hours and 40-45 minutes on foot.
We followed our kids down the horse trail (would not recommend on foot!), then a bit of Navajo, and Peek a boo loop. By the time we finished the loop, the horses were so far ahead we could not longer see them. So we came back on the horse trail but took the Queen’s Garden trail to meet back up on the horse trail leading to the horse corral. The horse trail was very tough on foot due to the soft sand but the other trails were fine (hard packed).
The whole trail was beautiful but Peek a boo loop was incredibly breathtaking. Looking at pictures online does not do it justice. Even now, going thru my own pictures the amphitheater doesn’t seem so awe-inspiring!
The hike was strenuous at this elevation and for the speed my husband and I took it with. With prior planning we should have taken Queen’s Garden trail to skip the horse trail - that was the toughest part with the soft sand and dodging poop. And if we hadn’t followed the horses (who finished 20 min faster than they should have) I would have really liked to take our time taking in the scenery.
We went from 1pm- 2:45pm in the July heat but it really didn’t feel as hot. There was wind and the sun every now and then hid behind a cloud. (We had hiked Escalante which the sun was brutal there) Still bring plenty of water!

在这个海拔高度徒步，再加上我和丈夫走得比较快，确实很吃力。如果事先做好计划，我们应该走皇后花园小径，避开马道——马道是最难走的一段，沙子松软，还要躲避马粪。如果我们没有跟着马走（它们比预计时间提前了20分钟到达终点），我真的很想放慢脚步，好好欣赏沿途的风景。
我们在七月的炎热天气里，从下午1点走到2点45分，但感觉并没有那么热。有风，太阳时不时地躲在云层后面。（我们之前徒步过埃斯卡兰特，那里的阳光非常强烈）还是要带足水！
