点评:This was a fun place to see some sea creatures close-up! Be sure to check what time low-tide is, but keep in mind that others are doing the same and you will be there with several other people which can make seeing things a bit more difficult. Wear some sort of water shoes/sandals because you will get wet! It wouldn't be a bad idea to pack a change of clothes or wear swimwear; we did not do this and while no one fell in, the waves had other ideas! If you don't like seaweed, well maybe just don't visit the ocean. It's everywhere! This is also not a trip for those with limited mobility. You do need to scramble on the rocks to get down and back up, and while I wouldn't call this difficult, those with mobility issues might. I'm not in good shape and did not have difficulty, so take that for what you will! This is part of Point Loma/Cabrillo Monument, so you will need to pay the $20 fee to get into the park. The drive down to the tide pools is on a steep road that is somewhat winding that you will be sharing with bicyclists, so keep that in mind. There was plenty of parking near the tide pools and the walk was easy. There are also toilets at the top of the tide pool area.
