Park ok, restaurant and food is awful

点评：Having been a visitor/member for over 10 years it is interesting to see how the dinosaur park/Roarr has "evolved" during this time.
It is generally a good day out but overpriced as most places are now. What is most disappointing is the lack of direction with the food outlets. Basically don't bother and bring your own food. The offering used to be quite good with relatively cheap and cheerful good old favourites for adults and kids, think burger and chips, jacket potatoes, sandwich boxes toasted sandwiches really good cheese on toast and the like, but over the years it has suffered from misdirection and trying to be more than what it is. We went recently only to find it has changed direction again this time presented with an overpriced greasy sour dough cheese toasty accompanied with the most mediocre of soups and worst of all skin on fries, which neither kids nor adults would willingly choose. See picture below.
With all due respect I would like to remind you that you are indeed a children's adventure park with a soft play area.
In all of the other soft play areas we have been over the last 10 years a simple offering of jacket potatoes, normal cheese on toast and normal fries have always been a hit with parents and children alike.
The attempted gourmet offering you are trying to attempt is not appealing on the menu and even less so on the plate, this is why every time we come we always see the majority of people eating their own homemade sandwiches as well as I'm sure due to cost.
Having already emailed the venue about this I presume nothing will change as they believe this (see picture) is what their customers want and sadly not as responsive as the previous F&B Management.
May I suggest you go back to basics and cater for what the majority desire and not the minority or trying to change the food tastes of a uk soft play day out.
