Scenic Drive but too much traffis

点评：Little River Road leads to the Cades Cove loop road. Busy Saturday afternoon as we went towards Cades Cove traffic was ok but we could see traffic returning was backed up for miles. We proceeded hoping it would be lighter a bit later.
It was actually worse until the Visitor Centers closed. Bumper to bumper traffic for about 5 miles at stop and 5 mph pace. Big problem is intersection of Little River Road and the Crossover Highway. Rangers at the intersection simply watching not directing traffic.
I suggest that Park Personnel direct traffic allowing ten to twenty cars at a time in each direction at the intersection. I believe it would speed up the movement of the vehicles.
The traffic makes this a long drive and clearly lessens your opportunity to sightsee.
