点评:The hike to the bridge is a very nice short and scenic hike for all folks, except those handicapped. I have hiked for 40 years. Beyond the bridge, and to the lake is difficult because it is over so much un even rocky terrain. For small children, heavier set people or older folks, one fall could mean a very hurt knee or leg. It takes a lot of concentration over most of the trail up to the lake, and especially going down over this terrain! A 500'+ elevation gain, also is a challenging hike for many people just wanting to go for a scenic walk in the forest.
Also, the weather in this area can change rapidly, as it did for us. It was hot when we left and my partner just wore a T-shirt. By the time we got to the lake an hour later, a thunderstorm was rolling in. Fortunately, I brought hoodies for both of us. if you do go out on this hike, be prepared for a large change in weather.
