An authentic way to experience the hot springs.

点评：Compared to Quapah, this is a more traditional, earnest experience. There is no ‘couples’ option and no advance reservations taken. I was there a few minutes before opening (at 8am) and moved through quickly. Was done in 2 hours, including an extra massage.
The line starts early outside the front doors. The check-in process is matter of fact, and efficient. You then wait in a gender-specific relaxation room. I was only there a short while before being moved into a private soak tub. About 15 min in the tub, skin feels great. You then move to the ‘pack room where piping hot thermal infused towels are placed all on, under, and around you, toes to nose. From there, a traditional sitz bath (very unusual experience) and then into the Vapor machine .. an authentic steamer process where you sit inside a small metal box with only your head sticking out the top. Weird feeling. From there you wrap again and make your way to the massage area. It was a little backed up there but worth the wait. From there, the experience concludes and you exit.
I was initially dismayed at the assembly line approach but the staff are very helpful and keep everyone moving.
I appreciated the authenticity of this experience. If you’re looking for a luxury spa with a contemporary vibe, this is not that. Check out Quapah for that approach. But do not miss out on this one. Truly a unique way to enjoy the springs.
