Take the drive, but the tower is give or take

点评：Drive the Mountain Driving Road up to the tower. There are beautiful picnic stops on the way up. Two fawns were at the side of the road.
The tower isn’t incredibly impressive and a bit pricy for the view from the lookout (but maybe we’ve just been too many places with incredible views that were absolutely free). The tower does sway for any of you who are uncomfortable with heights. The tower has two upper levels. One is an enclosed museum and the other is the open third floor. There were wasp warnings. I saw one, but it wasn’t aggressive. You can take the stairs or the elevator. There are restrooms here on the first floor with the gift shop.
So is the tower an absolute must see? We’d actually Just recommend stopping before you get to the tower. The drive to the tower parking lot is on the left, before that on the right is a beautiful overlook. In lieu of the tower, I’d recommend getting out to see it and check out the view from there.
