点评：On my recent visit with friends to Southern Utah we visited Dixie National Forest. We drove through it on both Utah 14 and Utah Scenic Byway 12. Utah 14 from Cedar City to the intersection with US 89 is very scenic and the ground was covered in snow as we passed through. The Aspen Trees' leaves were getting ready to fall and they were a gorgeous bright yellow. As Highway 14 cuts through the Dixie National Forest there are scenic turnouts and the highway reaches elevations just below 10,000 feet.
One of the best-known portions of the Dixie National Forest is the Red Canyon Area. Red Canyon is an area of Colorful rocks with hues of orange and red. It has hoodoos and rock castle formations like Bryce Canyon does. There are also two picturesque tunnels along Utah 12 as one drives through Red Canyon. It is a beautiful area. We enjoyed the sites in Dixie National Forest.
