One of the better waterfalls you can go to
Tahquamenon Falls State Park的点评
点评：I ended up going to the upper and lower falls. There is a trail you can take and walk to both which I attempted to do. But if it rained hard it gets a little too difficult to walk it. So I ended up just driving to both. The bigger waterfall is up top. You can really only view it from a distance as far as I saw. They were in the middle of construction when I went, so maybe they’re maybe a closer viewing area I’m not sure. The upper falls was also much quieter as not many people seem to go there. I do think the lower falls were better overall. There were more waterfalls to see there, and you are even able to swim in them if you wanted to. It is much more crowded, so odds are there will be people in your pictures. Guessing you’ll have to get there right as the park opens to get pictures without a crowd in them. I’d definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for waterfalls you can get closer to. Also seems like a popular choice for families since you can swim there. It’s also not a crazy hike to see either of these. You can get to them in maybe 15-20 minutes from the parking lot.
