点评:Bought a combi ticket for the Shackleton Exhibition and then the Shipwreck Museum. We were advised to do the Shackleton Experience first, which was probably wise as I'll get on to later. Plenty of information about Shackleton's arduous expedition to the Antarctic, with some photos, recordings of first hand accounts of the voyage, and a short film of the actual crew. Much of the exhibition is in tunnels underground which adds an extra quality to it. All quite fascinating if you're interested in that, which luckily we are. Once that's done, we went to the Shipwreck Museum, which sadly has presumably seen much better days, at least you'd hope so. The first thing you're met with are a number of empty cabinets which signs saying the exhibits have been moved elsewhere, and information stating that the museum is soon to close down and the artifacts sold off. So I guess that's why it's like it is, which is a shame. There is still some interesting stuff to be found, but it's a bit disjointed and if we'd only done this and not the Shackleton Experience we would have been disappointed.
