点评:Went with a group of friends on Sunday at 1. I was a little nervous as I saw a lot of reviews stating that the staff was rude during the tours. However, our group was toured around with Alfonso and another member and they did a wonderful job. Really love the story telling and history that they provided .
I also saw some reviews upset that there wasn't enough focus on the Native American history with the Cavern, but after going on the tour its simply because they don't have much to go off of, no evidence in the cavern itself showing whether the Indians had even known the cave existed.
Its a very beautiful experience and I would definitely recommend stopping by and allowing some extra time for the petting zoo and shop, as well as mini golf down the street.
And a heads up that when they say 71 steps down... its also 71 steps UP.
My one and only complaint is that frankly the groups were too large for the tour, I think our guide said our group wasn't even the biggest they take down. Having such a large group really effected my experience, there are lots of areas in the Cavern that you walk into and then turn right around to get out of, so if you werent at the front of the pack... you never really got to see all the things , or necessarily hear about everything, you pay $25 a person to go down... you should get to see the full cavern and learn all about it ...
