Rio Grande Village Nature Trail的点评
点评：“Nature trail” in NPS parlance typically means a short loop trail on a level - often handicapped-accessible - surface. There’s a lot more to the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail. First, there’s a decent walk from the parking through campgrounds to the trailhead. And while the trail itself starts on a boardwalk, it soon turns into a rough, rock-strewn path with some elevation, especially if you do the overlook spur, and some sand if you do the river spur. With spurs and walking to/from the trailhead, 0.75 miles becomes 3 miles.
The trail itself offers a lot more than a typical nature trail, with stunning vistas of the Rio Grande along a long bank and then into the mouth of the canyon.
And there is definitely plenty of nature, specifically many birds to see and hear in the marsh area especially.
