Lovely day trip with my son.
曼彻斯特博物馆的点评
点评：Great place, well worth a visit.
We actually didn’t get around it all due to getting there later than expected due to extensive roadworks, which just means we get to go back again ☺️
The parking situation around there wasn’t exactly easy to navigate. It would be great if there was a bit more detail on the museum website to help with this. I ended up parking at the aquatic centre, as this is council run so a touch cheaper than NCP, it also wasn’t a huge walk away.
Inside, I felt like the layout means you always find something interesting is (quite literally) around the corner.
We visited specifically for the dinosaur section and it didn’t disappoint. My son was over the moon to see so many fossils and skeletons.
We also really enjoyed the area which had a variety of taxidermy on display, again, this visit was for my son and he was thrilled to be able to see so many animals ‘in real life.’
Staff we very helpful and pleasant, they seemed to be strategically placed in areas where you need them the most.
There is a cafe inside the building but never visited.
