Very cool place, lots of animal sightings

点评：This was my daughter’s favorite part of the trip. We saw many birds, lots of lizards/iguanas, different fish, a snake, several little funny crabs…
We did the drive through, and the gentleman at the gate was very nice and helpful.
I have to say I was a bit disappointed in our specific experience that morning — we’d stopped in to the visitors center the day prior to find out what we needed to know to do kayaks the next morning…the staff there was great and gave us pamphlets with hours, etc. When we pulled in the next morning (after dragging kids up early, packing the cooler and collecting things for a few hours on the water with kids), the gates were locked. No kayaking, which I was really looking forward to. I understand if they had some weird hours or something that day (things happen), but it was frustrating since we’d specifically made that extra stop to avoid that exact situation.
All in all, I’d recommend doing this with your family. Great morning option for a beach break. Wish we’d seen the gator!

总而言之，我推荐和家人一起去。这是海滩度假的绝佳早晨选择。希望我们能看到鳄鱼！
