Vegetarian couple with no kids still had a great time

点评：We are vegetarians with no kids which makes us feel a little out of place in Branson but the good news is that the veggie meal tasted a lot better than it looked! It was a rolled cheese lasagna with green beans and a special 250th anniversary red white and blue cake, which was moist and had a nice raspberry blueberry topping. The boarding process was organized and easy. The boat was a great size for the amount of guests on board. It had the right mix of historical features like the decor, with modern touches like the elevators and stage design. At first the variety show seemed a bit lame but after a while we warmed up to it, and that girl Brooke who does the balancing act should be in Vegas, she was truly impressive! I liked that there was variety beyond just singing and dancing with the magic and unicycling. The showboat didn’t go too fast and didn’t travel too far, and the overall cruise was neither too long nor too short. Prices in the gift shop were high $8 for a fridge magnet but that’s not a dealbreaker. The grounds were lovely with nice flowers and some benches to sit and relax. I would recommend it to a friend if you’re able to keep an open mind.
