点评:I found myself with a few hours to spare and take a taxi to this market. I realise it had been rebuilt a few years ago but in general I have to say the experience was pretty underwhelming.
The market comprises three floors with the ground floor being the main food area comprising spices, nuts, fruit as well as fresh and frozen meat. Prices seemed high and it appears to be more aimed at tourists than locals. There are lots of nice photo opportunities, if you are that way inclined but unsurprisingly a number of the stallholders didn’t want to be photographed and I can only assume it must get very weird when you are there to make a living.
The next floor consisted mainly of small electronic stalls, selling the usual phone cases etc while some of them did phone repairs. In addition there were some clothes retailers of the quality is low and the prices again quite high.
The third floor consists mostly of clothing retailers and the same caveat applies with low quality and tourist prices.
All, it was probably not worth the time I spent there, but if you’re desperate to buy from a bazaar like this one there is a good amount of choice.
