Great views of the Coast but skip the cave

点评：A nice stop along the northern shore. I read the conflicting reviews about parking. All beaches in PR are free, and you can find a place to park. If you do decide to park for free, do it on the east side of the arch (before you get to the paid lot). That said, we paid to park and it gives you a good spot to start (and there are porta potties).
We went to the cave and then the arch. My family is adventurous and I would not recommend going into the cave. Once you get to the bottom, which is about 20 feet down, it's a small space and there isn't much to see or explore. 5 minutes down there and you are ready to go out. However, there is the problem. The entry hole is small and "one-way", so if a tour group is behind you then you could be stuck down there for a while. This happened to us. The tour guides were very rude. They would not the 2 of us get out before they got their people through the opening. That said, there is a trick to getting out if you have the ability to climb. If you at the bottom and are facing the carvings on the wall, turn to your right and there is a pocket that you can enter and climb up and out. My son is 12 and was the one to figure it out. It's was fairly easy to do but do so at your own risk. We saw another couple later in the day and they said they were stuck down there for about 40 minutes, as they were not comfortable with the climb. Also as you walk around up top, there are about 5 holes that are the size of a manhole cover. If you fall through it's not going to end well. Do not walk and take pictures at the same time. Pay attention.
We then worked east toward the beach/arch. It is a easy, short hike that leads to some very nice views.
Overall a nice spot - but think twice about the cave if it is crowded.
