点评：We read the reviews here ahead of time and knew to look for the free parking (approaching from the east) before arriving at the paid lot. Put "Cueva Del Indio Alternativa" into your maps app of choice and it will get you there.
See my attached picture of the sign and white garbage can that are located on the north side of the road so you know what to look for. Here there is a path/boardwalk bridge out onto the beach with the tidepools (cave is up the cliff and over to the left/west). The parking is a sandy patch directly across the street (south side of the road) with room for about four cars to park normal and one more to park sideways. There is a "$5 parking" sign nailed to a tree just past the lot on the south side of the road where there is a (possibly abandoned) house. Use that as a sign that you are in the right spot as there was no need to pay and no one there collecting money on the Tuesday morning in April that we were there.
