Akaka Falls
阿卡卡瀑布州立公园的点评
点评：It’s $5 per person + $10 to park. There is parking outside of the parking lot on the side of the road that is free. Restrooms are available at the entrance. There are two falls, Kahuna & Akaka. There are no marking for Kahuna Falls, so know that the little lookout for before you ascend up the steps on the far right side of the path is Kahuna Falls.
The park attendants tell you to go the right to start as it is easier on the body than going to the left. Note that there are a LOT of stairs going both up and down throughout the entire loop. This may not be suitable for someone with knee problems (although I did it & have knee issues) or who are unsteady.
When you get down to Akaka Falls viewpoint, there is a small covered seating. The path to both falls is in the middle of the forest of trees, flowers, and bushes. Beautiful sight. Overall worth a visit!
