点评：We had a great time at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center during our stay in Virginia Beach. It’s a solid mix of aquarium exhibits and interactive science displays, and a great option for families, especially on a hot day.
The highlights for us were the sea turtles, sharks, and jellyfish, along with several other well-designed aquatic exhibits. The touch tanks and hands-on elements added a fun for kids to explore and learn.
The layout is pretty spread out, with two main buildings connected by a nature trail and boardwalk. It’s a beautiful walk, but keep that in mind if you’re visiting during hot weather or with younger children—there is a shuttle option if needed.
One thing to note: some areas felt a little crowded, especially mid-morning when school groups arrived, but staff did a great job keeping things moving and friendly.
Overall, it’s a well-run, clean, and educational experience that’s well worth a few hours. Not the largest aquarium out there, but definitely a good stop while in the Virginia Beach area.
