点评：I visited Spiti Valley in January 2025 with my friends and honestly it was one of the best trips of my life. We all wanted to see snow and experience some adventure, and Spiti gave us both. The journey was not easy at all, roads were half covered with snow and the cold was crazy, but that’s what made it special.
We reached Kaza after a long drive from Manali side. The view on the way was just amazing – mountains all white and shining in the sun. Sometimes it was so silent that we could only hear the sound of wind. We stayed in a small homestay run by a local family. They were so kind and gave us hot tea and food even when it was freezing outside.
One morning we went to Key Monastery, it looked like something from a movie, totally peaceful. Breathing was little hard because of height but we managed. At night we sat near bonfire, listened songs and talked for hours.
If you are planning to go Spiti in winter, be ready for extreme cold but also for extreme beauty. No words can explain how beautiful that place is. I will surely go again, maybe in summer next time to see the difference.
