South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve的点评
点评：We visit South Stack yearly (usually march/ April) to see the resident Choughs for our year list plus what’s about. As usual the Choughs didn’t disappoint ,their constant calling and aerial pursuits were amazing. On the way from the reserve 6 birds were feeding in nearby fields easily viewable from the roadside .A wonderful visit supported by Wheatear , Ravens ,Stonechats , Swallows and distant collection of Auks and Gulls.
Wonderful place.
On arrival we were greeted by Katie from the RSPB what a pleasant young lady , informative ,welcoming and very good in her role , a visit to the shop is a must for my wife and it didn’t disappoint , the shop managed by Jane, who again provides a warm welcome etc .
We completed our visit by enjoying ice creams , which we found were made locally and very nice indeed.
Finally we talked to Lora who was busy preparing to complete some stencilling on bags to purchase , again a friendly and welcoming person. In fact all the members of staff were welcoming , credit to the RSPB . If you haven’t visited south stack then you should, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
