点评:An absolute gem of a museum for WW2 enthusiasts housed in an actual bunker. Can’t understand why people complain about the size of the museum - it is what it is an actual bunker! Each room is packed with genuine memorabilia both military and civilian representing the period of occupation. It is a museum so the focus is on the artifacts and the stories not a reproduction of a WW2 bunker when in service - if you want to see one of those you need to go on one of the jersey bunker tours. I was lucky to do both whilst on holiday. Alas the rest of my family aren’t quite as interested in WW2 history as me so we didn’t stay as long as I would have liked (prob 45mins to 1hr) but I gladly could have been there for 2hrs easy and not have been bored or probably have seen everything. If I ever return to Jersey I’d let the family picnic on the beach leaving me plenty of time in the museum unhurried. I also had the opportunity to chat to the owner, who was manning the entrance, at some length who was very informative about the bunker and his extensive private collection. Though not readily accessible there are a number of items on sale - the Lee Enfield Bayonet was a little out of my price range but the book on Lothringen Battery was well worth the money and a visit (at Noirmont point). Thank you again for a great visit and chat!
