点评：It was a bucket list item to see Hayward. Really, it would have been amazing to see the old one but the remodel, being the heart of TrackTown USA, is plenty amazing. As it turns out, I worked the 23 Pre Classic and even got to run the media race. A lap around the famous track!!
Very modern facility now. The colored seats are supposed to represent the colors of Oregon and make it appear more full, but more important to spectators, those are all padded seats!! Given it's size, not really a bad seat in the house. The low wall near the giant screen is great for viewing events up close but you'll miss the finish line. Several bathroom facilities, several water bottle refill stations (free!), and lots to look at in and around the stadium. Great place!
Not sure of parking situation but you're on the campus so, if on a weekend, you might be in the clear to park just about anywhere. I tucked in to the lot of the little museum near the stadium and it was a great short walk over and back.
