Intriguing yet feels deserted

点评：Heard from a shopkeeper that this community was started 25 years ago with 28 store/residence combinations. Store is on the ground, residence above. Today 10 remain. The others repurposed their retail space into a man cave or exercise room, according to the shopkeeper.
Some of the 10 stores are interesting, like the specialty lego shop, and the toy robot museum. If you like dolls, there's a ton of stuff in that store (felt claustrophobic to me). The jewelry store is the closest to a typical retail experience. The restaurant smelled great but we didn't go in. The plaza felt kind of deserted and there's not enough there to justify stopping, in my opinion. Definitely not on a cold or windy day. We parked behind the thrift store adjacent to the development. Thrift store is a good one, worth the stop.
