点评：Small museums with limited budgets can be great or they can be awful. The staff makes a huge difference as does the collection. I managed museums and taught classes for professional staff for over thirty years. Two other museums pros visited here with me and came away impressed with a vibrant museum well exhibited in spite of limited resources. Admission is FREE. They tell the history of St. Maarten using artifacts, photographs & maps. The exhibits are well labeled- the staff was aware that some text needs to be bigger- but that is a work in progress. There is an excellent exhibit on the Jewish population that almost vanished and then came back. None of us were Jewish but the exhibit was well done. Jean Marc is a young curator with the fire needed to keep a small museum alive. Please enjoy a visit and leave a donation. No, I don't have anything to do with this museum, I just like to see good small museums thrive.
