Disappointing and misleading experience. Don’t waste your money!

点评：We booked this bioluminescence kayaking tour with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. First off, we tried to cancel after hearing that several other tour companies were giving their guests the option to cancel due to poor conditions there was only a 1–10% chance of seeing any bioluminescence that night. Those companies were upfront and honest. Ours? Not at all. When we called, they refused to offer the same option or even acknowledge the conditions. It felt like they just wanted to make money, regardless of whether guests got what they paid for.
As for the tour itself, we didn’t see a single bit of bioluminescence, not even a flicker. It ended up just being a crowded night kayaking trip with about 20 people, constantly bumping into each other in the dark. Definitely not the magical experience they promote or that we were expecting.
I wish we had gone with a company that was more transparent and customer-focused. Save yourself the time and money, check the bioluminescence forecast and book with a company that’s honest about the experience you’re likely to get.
