Gold Rock Beach的点评
点评：We got off the ship and found taxi company by the port. They convinced us to go to this “beautiful” beach and caves. Took about 40 minutes via taxi from the port and paid $200 for three of us round trip. We were told it was incredible they really hyped it up. Wasn’t worth the price we paid for the taxi. We got dropped off at the first side for the caves first off they didn’t tell us it was $11 a person to get into this park. Then the caves were a major disappointment and took about 10 minutes total definitely not good for people with difficulty walking they had steep staircase to go down to get into one of the caves. There is a lady selling drinks out of car for decent prices bring cash. Then we went across the road to the beach. We had high hopes because they claim it’s the most beautiful beach on the island I wouldn’t agree with this. We walked on a dock through mangroves be careful where you walk there’s large gaps between the planks of wood. We got bitten by bugs on our way through the mangroves to the beach. We got to the beach and the water was super far out for low tide you could walk a decent ways out. There was chairs and umbrella to rent $30 for two we were desperate to get out of the heat and sunlight. They had people making drinks on beach inside coconuts we didn’t try these. We left the beach after only an hour and a half since there was nothing to do and we weren’t impressed. We ended up going to Taino beach after and were way happier there at the stoned crab restaurant.
