点评：Trunk Bay Beach truly lives up to the hype — this place is absolutely stunning! From the moment our feet hit the soft white sand and sparkling turquoise water, we knew it was going to be a special day. The scenery here is nothing short of breathtaking, with lush green hills and postcard-perfect views that feel like a Caribbean dream.
We started our day with the ferry ride over to St. John — what an adventure! The views on the water were incredible and the open-air safari taxi ride from Cruz Bay added so much fun to the experience. It honestly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure before we even reached the beach.
When we arrived, the winds were strong, so heads-up if you’re planning a visit — definitely check the wind forecast before you go. The waves were lively, which made snorkeling a blast for me, though the breeze meant my wife got a little sand-blasted while soaking up the sun. That said, she enjoyed every minute of it — the beauty and energy of the beach were unforgettable.
We’ve been to Trunk Bay in April and again in January 2026, and both visits were gorgeous. When the wind dies down, the water is calm and perfect for snorkeling around the right side of the beach. This stretch of shoreline is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
The underwater snorkeling trail is iconic, and even on breezy days it’s worth dipping in wherever you can — the water here is crystal clear and teeming with life when conditions are right.
Yes, it’s a popular spot — and crowds can build later in the day, especially on cruise ship days — but getting there early makes all the difference. We loved every second of our time at Trunk Bay, from the ferry and taxi journey to each minute on the sand and in the water.
