Beautiful spring hike
The Pleiades的点评
点评：A great place for a hike, especially in late May during the white daffodil bloom. The meadows are covered in flowers, with stunning views of the mountains in every direction, and over Lake Leman. At least one of the fields is also used for stargazing. If that interests you, it's worth looking up the AstroPleiades association, which occasionally hosts astronomy events in the area.
Not far from the Pleiades, you'll also find the Les Tenasses wetlands, where you can observe a rich variety of flora and fauna, including carnivorous plants. Wooden boardwalks lead through the wetlands, with signposts throughout, making the walk very comfortable. The nearby Sentier de l'Ermite features various wooden sculptures along the trail.
The train station is very close to all the main hiking starting points. The MOB/GoldenPass train runs from Vevey and back. I highly recommend having a half-fare card, as a one-way ticket costs 19.40 CHF without it and is half the price with it. You can also arrive by car, with several parking areas nearby.
On the downside, there is no ticket machine at Les Pleiades station, so if you need to buy tickets from a machine, you have to do it in advance at another station, or use the app.
I recommend bringing a picnic, as restaurant prices here are typically Swiss.
