点评：I was so excited to do this trip with my mom and my daughter, we wanted to visit Evora in our way to Algarve were we were staying at the W hotel. The W recommended this company stating that the driver was a tourist guide as well and he could give us a tour in Evora. We quickly realized that it was a total darse since David, the driver told us it was his first time in Evora! he gave us just an hour to see the cathedral and rushed us to a restaurant outside Evora even though we told him we weren’t hungry. Next day we had arranged a tour to Sao Vicente, Lagos, Portimao and Albufeira with the same company, but he decided NOT to follow the plan, and when we insisted in visiting Lagos he started to yell at us very aggressively to drown our voices down. We didn’t visit all the spots agreed and he wanted to charge us extra despite the fact that we had agreed to a flat fee for the whole duration of the tour. We were so overwhelmed that we decided to go back to the hotel by taxi from Albufeira. Next day the same guy, David, arrived to pick us up to take us back to Lisbon. We specifically asked him to stop in Tavira and Faro but as soon as we went in the car he said Faro wasn’t beautiful and suggested to not go! We insisted and he said he knew better than us but that it was ok. He took us to Tavira and gave us an hour to visit it, we asked him to give us 1.5. He picked us up and drove us to a Olhao ( that was never part of the plan) because he wanted to eat there! After an hour he drove us to Faro but when he stopped the car and asked as how long we will stay there, without giving us time to respond, he started to yell to us in such a way that we became so frightened and anxious. He was saying that he had spent so much time with us that we will need to pay extra if we wanted to make a stop. I asked him to stop yelling, my daughter said, yes we can pay you extra money but please stop yelling, but my elder mother became so distressed that ask him to drive us directly to Lisbon.He did not stop yelling, I just wanted to look for a policeman. He told us that it was his car and that he is the one to decide where and when to stop, not the client. He said if you don’t like it take your luggage and get a bus! He particularly got aggressive when I said I would talk to someone back at the W hotel. Once we were in the middle of nowhere he said: I left a whole family right here in the highway because this is my car and they disrespected me.
Can you imagine how scared we were? 3 women in a foreign country, far away from home ,been verbally abused by this violent guy! Back in Lisboa I was so physically and emotionally shaken that the hotel staff tried to make jokes to calm my nerves. I was this close to call security as I was extremely afraid for my mother, my daughter and myself. Save yourself the nightmare and never hire this company.
