点评：A bustling market with a huge variety of goods. A great day out with some fantastic bargains available. Our holiday rep (Easyjet) was able to arrange a private transfer from our hotel in Balek to the market and back again.
As a family with young children, we wanted a day out to do a bit of shopping, but also know that we were safe and that our transport was arranged to safely return us to our hotel.
Our private car picked us up from reception and drove us directly to the market. When they dropped us off, we agreed a time for them to meet us back at the same place, which they did.
The market itself is amazing. Almost everything you could want. My son got football kits, my husband got some lovely smelling Turkish tea, and I got a nice jumper and handbag. The fresh food area looked and smelled amazing too. Be prepared to Haggle though. Most prices were quoted to us in Euros, but we had only bought Turkish Lira with us, so we had to ask for the price in Lira. We found the first few stalls as you walk in were the most expensive and cheaper as you went further inside. You can usually Haggle a reasonable price and if you can't, just say no thankyou, walk away and the same item will be available in another stall where you can try again. Most stalls are cash only, although a few did accept card for a small fee.
We quote enjoyed the experience and got some great deals on trainers, handbags, rucksacks and clothing.
