The park is closed until further notice
里约热内卢佳美洞公园 (Parque de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy)的点评
点评：Our family has tried to visit the park on December 22, 2024. The park was closed and the guard at the closed gate told us that it has been closed for 4 months until further notice. It is not allowed to enter neither the park nor the caves. There were dozens of cars which stopped at the gate while we were there only to leave in disappointment. We were standing near the gate for more than an hour researching if there was any other way to see the caves (with some tour or by entering through a different entrance to the caves). Unfortunately, no web-site states that the park is closed and the tour pages just say that their activity is not available at this time. So, it is not communicated to the public that one cannot visit the caves at this time. This is sad since quite a lot of people are likely visiting Puerto Rico to see the caves and consider them as one of the island's main attractions, as it was in our case.
