点评：It would be hard to miss this place as it is located just across the Otaru canal. It is an interesting structure with a collection of small eateries along its narrow passageway. Looks better in the evening when the lights are on.
It is definitely a tourist trap as there are similar offerings with better quality at lower price elsewhere around but it’s the atmosphere of the place which makes it all worth it. The moment you step in and move along its narrow passages, it’s like stepping back in time. Add to mix the smell of the different street food as they are freshly made, creates a nostalgic feeling that is hard to replicate.
Apart from the street food, there are also sit in several outlets with dine in option. Some are better value than others, but do note that all have limited sitting capacity so be early to avoid disappointment.
Yes, do drop in for a bite of some good street food and soak in the atmosphere, but just done go in with too high an expectation.
