A reason to be out , but was a let down really . It was a sandals tour

点评：We read about shirley heights and the tour was offered at our sandals resort.
It was a trip that we thought we would like to do, but really its just 160 dollars for a taxi ride of about 40 minutes in a small people carrier with others .
It includes the 10 dollar entrance fee but nothing else.
You buy your own food and drink outside.
You walk through the bar and restaurant /small , to get outside to the viewing platform.
I have to say the view is lovely and you need to the sunset time trip.
Buy food outside at the viewing area its MUCH cheaper than the restaurant which is mainly a thorough fair.
There are stalls to buy trinkets that are over priced but i dont mind that as its a choice and you are giving something back .
Our main gripe about the sandals trip here is that you are collected about 7.15-7.30pm and thats when the party is only getting started with a great steel band and live singers and band.i think it finishes about 9pm.
My advice is to use taxis ..
( although it was quite a scary journey back through st johns with police pulling over cars and road blocks. So we were glad at that point to be with a sandals rep/ taxi.
Summary - nothing else here just the view which makes great photos.
Hopefully on your date the steel band will be there.
And rum on sale at £3.50 a drink
