Point Lookout Vineyards的点评
点评：Point Lookout Vineyards is a peaceful little spot to enjoy some wine, mead, light snacks, and panoramic mountain views.
A shuttle runs from the parking lot up the hill to the tasting room for those who can’t or would rather not hike or down the steep incline that separates the two.
I like that they offer both wine and mead for tasting. Most of the other vineyards in the area just stick to wine.
I ordered a mead flight that came with bonus wine. Each of the meads were distinct and unique, while I found the wine to be pretty average (for clarity, I tasted the Sugarloaf.) I wound up going home with a bottle of Traditional Mead and a bottle of raspberry mead.
The only to downside was that there was a wedding scheduled during the time we visited, so we weren’t able to use the inside of the building. Not too much of a problem on a sunny October afternoon, but I don’t think it would have been so pleasant in January.
