点评:First, ensure you navigate to the "entrada Cerro Pelado" not just Cerro Pelado otherwise you end up on the wrong side of the mountain, and GPS might try to take you down some 4x4 road to get to the right spot. After that you need to have 15,000 colones(for non residents) to hike with 2 people and park your vehicle. Other websites had mentioned that it was only 3000/ person and 3000 to park. There is a washroom available at the parking lot, but nothing once you start hiking. Other than that it is a beautiful hike. If you are going mid-day ensure you have sunscreen and plenty of water as there is almost no shade available at the top. There are a couple small trees, and if the sun is at the right angle a couple ledges to get a bit of shade. Other than a steepish climb for the first 1km, the trail is pretty flat at the top with a bit of rolling terrain. We ended up hiking to the furthest peak, which did require a short scramble, but we wouldn't recommend that part if you don't do well with heights. Overall, spent about 2 1/2 hours to go out and back.
