点评：We live on Tortola and we did a staycation at Cooper Island Beach Club this past weekend, me, hubby and 13-year-old daughter. Two nights on the bed and breakfast rate. It was a perfect weekend. I did not enjoy the boat ride over. The boat is simply not comfortable. But, once we arrived, it was all good from there. We were met at the dock by Chanel and immediately escorted to our room. Gorgeous room! Cool Caribbean understated elegance. Clean, spacious and it had everything necessary for a comfortable beachside stay, down to board games, beach bags, lovely beach towels, water bottles. You literally only need to come with your bathing suits and coverups. And of course the balcony with comfortable seating from which to relax and enjoy the beautiful water and island views. I like that the hotel side of the property is separate from the rest of the property with its own bit of beach, sun loungers, day beds and other amenities. We spent our time resting and relaxing in our room, on the beach and around the property. The food for the most part was very good with lunch and dinner taken in the main restaurant and breakfast in a separate beachside dining space on the hotel side. It worked well. We enjoyed after dinner drinks and mingling with other guests at the beautiful Rum Bar. Very nice. I like that the property produces its own drinking water which tasted fresh and clean and they provide nice reusable water bottles and you can get easy refills at the main bar. The property is so very well kept/maintained and you can tell that they go out of their way to keep it pristine. Service overall was attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much for our servers in the restaurant or other staff we encountered. I knew a stay at Cooper would be special but our stay exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a getaway from it all in a pristine ecofriendly environment, you cant go wrong with a stay at Cooper Island. Top notch.
