点评：I spent a few days surfing here with a friend. The beach and lagoon are both super beautiful and the restaurants and bars nearby are super fun. The surfing was ok when we were there.
During one of our sessions, we rescued a young guy who got caught in the rip while snorkeling. He was, in my estimation, on his way to drowning had we not seen him struggling and helped.
My friend and I are both strong swimmers and experienced surfers, and even we were not able to escape the rip with him holding onto our boards. We eventually just stuck him on one of our boards, told him to hang on like his life depended on it, and pushed him onto a wave to get him closer to shore and out of the current. That decision worked out and we then got him to the beach where he collapsed and expelled a bunch of water and thanked us repeatedly for not leaving him.
This is a great spot, but be extra careful here.
If you have little kids or aren't a strong swimmer, Playa Montones, basically right around the corner might be a better choice. The lagoon there is sheltered and safe.
