Great tour into forest and park (with elephants)

点评：Very good people, good all-day tour, very decent meals, very adequate rooms. Because it was dry season, most of the trees and hills were brown BUT higher up in Khao Yai National park it was greener and well forested. Greenleaf's base (accommodations, meals) is right beside the highway so is a busy with traffic. There's nowhere to walk at this base except along that busy road with nothing to walk to and visit or explore except other restaurants and businesses. The rooms have screens so mosquitoes were not a problem (in the DRY season). We were 3 older couples and thoroughly enjoyed the place. The tour was good, walking a bit (for an hour or two only) but this is NOT jungle, nor even rain forest (maybe in wet season?). Bird sound in the forest and the trees, butterflies etc (also monkeys) was all very relaxing. The day finished by driving along the park roads until we were lucky enough to see 3 solo elephants cross the road.
