点评:Maybe this place isn't everyone's cup of tea but I/we like planes.
Not too sure about the museum title but whatever, it's a work in progress. The exhibits are in varying states of decay or repair but given that this is one man in his 80's trying to do his bit to preserve history and there aren't that many places you can get up close and personal with Soviet era military aircraft, I think it's well worth the 10 Euro entry fee.
Some commenters have said that there is no information and no guide, there is if you look, in 3 different languages. Maybe we were lucky in that two of our party were Latvians and were able to interpret for us. The owner walked around with us giving what I'm told was a very good knowlegeable commentary. I don't speak Russian or Latvian but I'm assured it was quite comprehensive in its content.
Bottom line, if you're a plane geek then this is a great way to spend time between checking out of your hotel in Riga and checking in at the airport.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. 90 minutes or so well spent in my opinion.
